Annotating While Recording

Gareth Casey Updated by Gareth Casey

While recording, you can add your own content to the screen recording. You can use this to make notes as you record, highlight important things on the screen or point to where the viewer should be looking.

When the Annotations button is clicked on the Recorder Control Bar, the additonal Annotation buttons will appear for each Annotation type.

When an Annotation type is selected, the mouse cursor will no longer interact with the screen like normal so you will not be able to click on anything that you see. Instead, clicking will just add your selected Annotation
