Navigating the Project Editor

When you open a project for editing, it will be displayed within the Project Editor.
The Project Editor consists of 4 main sections that you will use to edit your video project:
- The Video Canvas in the center
- The Media Panel on the left
- The Style Panel on the right
- The Timeline at the bottom
The Project Editor's Options menu is also available by clicking the icon at the top of the Project Editor window.
To return to the Hub, simply click the icon and then select Exit to leave the Project Editor.
Video Canvas
This is where you will see a preview of your video project. and can adjust the position and size of each media objects that you have added to your project.

Media Panel
This is where you will find all the different forms of media that can be added to your project to make your video. Using the tabs down the left side of the panel, you can access a libraries of stock videos, images and audio or import your own.
Once you have found what you want to add, simply drag it on to the Video Canvas to add it at the current frame or drag it onto the Timeline add it at any point within your project.

Style Panel
Any media object that you have added to a project can be customized. The options for each indiviudal object will be displayed in the Style Panel when the object is selected either on the Timeline or on the Video Canvas.

Timeline
Each time some media is added to your project, an object will be added to the Timeline to indicate when it will be displayed in the project. The duration that something is displayed for can be adjusted by extending and shortening the item on the Timeline.
The Timeline also controls how objects get layered on top of each other. For example, an object in the top track will appear in front of an object that is in a lower track.
