Recording the mouse cursor
Updated by Gareth Casey
You can toggle mouse cursor recording on and off by clicking the button and then going to the Recorder tab.
By default, Flashback Express will record the mouse cursor into your videos but turning the Record mouse cursor option off will diable mouse cursor recording.
When the Record mouse cursor option is disabled, the mouse cursor will be completely ignored by Flashback Express.
Adding cursor highlights
When the Record mouse cursor option is enabled, you can also add a semi-transparent highlight circle around the mouse cursor to make it easier to follow the cursor in the video.
Enabling the Highlight mouse cursor option will add a semi-transparent yellow circle around the mouse cursor. This option is disabled by default. When the Record mouse cursor option is disabled, the Highlight mouse cursor option will become unavailable.
Enabling the Highlight mouse clicks option will add semi-transparent pulses around the mouse cursor when one of mouse buttons is clicked.
