Exporting a Project

Gareth Casey Updated by Gareth Casey

When creating a project, Flashback Express 7 will create copies of all of the media that are used in your project that it can refer to until your export your Project to a video file.

If you need to move your project to a new PC. all of these files will need to be moved as well. You can do this by exporting the project on the current computer and then importing it on the new computer.

When exporting a project, all of the necessary files are packaged up into a single file that can then be copied to the other computer and then unpacked by Flashback Express 7 to import the project.

Exporting a Project

To package your project for moving to another computer, click on the (Options) button and select Export project to zip file.

The zipped project file will then be created in your Exports folder.

Importing a Project

You can then import your zipped project into Flashback Express 7 on another computer by opening the Project Editor, clicking the (Options) button and then selecting Import project from zip file.

The zipped project will then be unpacked into your Projects folder and added to your list of projects displayed in the Hub.
