How to make a clip

When you review a video that you have recorded with Flashback Express, you may find that there is some video at the start or end that you don't want to be there. Instead of being forced to keep the unwanted video, you can just trim the video down to just the part that you want to keep by making a clip.
- Start Flashback Express.
- Click the
button in the top left corner of the Recorder Window to open the Video Window, where you can view a list of all of your saved recordings.
- Click the thumbnail image of the video that you want to make a clip from to open the Edit & Upload Window.
- The video will be opened in the Edit & Upload Window where you can select the section of video that is used to make the clip by resizing the grey Clip Selection Bar below the video preview. Click and drag the handles at either end of the Clip Selection Bar to make the clip longer or shorter. As you drag the handles, the preview image above will change so you can see whereabouts in the video you are.
- The total duration of the clip will be displayed above the grey bar and the start and end times will be displayed below.
- When you are happy with what you have selected, click the Video file button to create your clip as a new MP4, MKV, AVI or WMV file. When prompted, enter a filename for the video file and select where it will be saved to.
