Becoming a Flashback affiliate

Gareth Casey Updated by Gareth Casey

Promote Flashback products on your website, YouTube and social media channels to get 25% commission on every sale you refer!

Whether you’re an established industry expert or a fresh newcomer, our affiliate program is open to anyone. To start selling, all you need is a webpage or some online content where you can display product information and your personal “Buy now” link.

Creating an Avangate Affiliate Account

Before becoming a Flashback affiliate, you will need to set yourself up with an affiliate account on Avangate.

  1. Go to the sign up page.
  2. Complete the sign up form.

We recommend that for Monthly sales you select I don't know yet and, if you are a YouTube or Twitch channel, for Website you can put the URL of your channel.
  3. Then wait - Avangate may take a few days to reply. The reply will probably ask some additional questions. This is how we suggest you answer:

    For a website

What markets will you be targeting?
”International - whoever is visiting my website”

Where will the affiliate traffic be generated from and the methods currently employed in order to generate the leads?
"The traffic will be generated from visitors to my website. I will promote Flashback and include Buy links with my content.”

Confirm domain ownership by replying from an email address belonging to your website or YouTube channel address.
Avangate want to make sure that your email address is linked to the website you've given them.

    For a YouTube channel

What markets will you be targeting?
”International - whoever is viewing my Youtube videos.”

Where will the affiliate traffic be generated from and the methods currently employed in order to generate the leads
“The traffic will be generated from viewers of my YouTube channel. I will create recordings using Flashback, promote it and post Buy links for it in descriptions for these videos.”

Confirm domain ownership by replying from an email address belonging to your website or YouTube channel address.
Add your email address (the same address you've given Avangate) as the "Business Enquiry address" for the channel. See instructions on how to do that here: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/57955?hl=en).

Then reply “I've added my email address to the Business Enquiry email address for my Youtube channel. You can see the address in the 'About' tab for the Channel, at the URL I gave you previously.”

Once you've replied to these questions, Avangate will take a few more days to approve you. When that's done, you should get an approval email from the Flashback team.

Verifying your identity with Avangate

Avangate need to be sure of who they're paying out to - that’s the law. You will need to submit your documents to make sure you can get paid.

  1. Login to your Avangate affiliate account: https://secure.avangate.com/affiliates/
  2. On the left side menu, click My Account and then select Account Information.
  3. If you are an individual, you'll need to upload a scan of your passport or other government issued ID, and proof of your address.

If you're a company, you'll need company ownership documents, tax documents and IDs of company owners.

Avangate will also want to know:

  • The markets you are currently targeting (i.e. local, international, etc.)
  • Details regarding the specific products and services you wish to promote via their affiliate network
  • Where the affiliate traffic will be generated from and the methods currently employed in order to generate the leads
  • Confirmation of domain ownership by replying from an email address belonging to you.

Choosing how you will be paid

When Avangate tracks a sale that has been made using your Buy link, it divides the payment between us and yourself. But, before you can get paid, you will need to setup your prefered payment method.

  1. Login to your Avangate affiliates account here: https://secure.avangate.com/affiliates/
  2. In the left side menu click, My Account and then select Payment Options.
  3. Select one of the payment options, or take a look at the pre-paid Mastercard option (its on the right side of the page).

The pre-paid Mastercard is a popular choice for affiliates that would otherwise incur high wire/bank transfer charges or who don't have a bank account. Avangate pay into the card account, and you can use this anywhere that accepts Mastercard, including ATMs.

Requesting a partnership if you are an existing Avangate Affiliate Network member

If you are already signed up on the Avangate Affiliate Network, you can send us a request to become a Flashback affiliate from your existing account.

If you are a new to the Avangate Affiliate Network, clicking our sign up link will automatically send us a partner request when your account is accepted by Avangate so there is no need to manually send us a request.

  2. In the left side menu, click Affiliate Programs and then select Find Partners/Products.

  1. Login to your Avangate affiliates account at https://secure.avangate.com/affiliates/
  2. In the left side menu, click Affiliate Programs and then select Get Links.
  3. Check the box next to Blueberry Software (that's us)
  4. Click the name of Flashback product that you want to generate a buy link for.
  5. On the next page, set Link type to Landing page and then select the product in the drop down menu that will then appear immediately below.
  6. Click Generate link and copy the link
  7. Paste the link into your webpage, blog post or YouTube video description - anywhere someone can click on it or copy it into their browser's address bar.
